Topps is bringing its flagship football line back in a big way for the 2026 season. After more than a decade away from producing a true flagship NFL set, the company is re-entering the category with 2026 Topps Flagship Football, a release built around a large base checklist, a deep rookie crop, multiple variation styles, on-card autograph chases, memorabilia content and a long list of inserts that pull from both modern and retro Topps ideas.
This is the first Topps flagship football release since 2015. Following the return of its NFL license, Topps had already reintroduced football products through lines such as Chrome, Finest and Signature Class. Now the brand is adding back the product many collectors associate with the foundation of a card year.
