Panini is bringing Select back to Italy’s top flight with 2025-26 Panini Select Serie A Soccer, a chromium release built around the brand’s familiar tiered base structure, a wide parallel rainbow, and a checklist that mixes current standouts with some of the biggest names in league history.
All 20 Serie A clubs are represented in the product, and the player lineup stretches from active stars like Kevin De Bruyne, Christian Pulisic, Lautaro Martinez, Rafael Leao, Luka Modric, Paulo Dybala and Scott McTominay to legends such as Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Kaka, Paolo Maldini, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo.
For hobby collectors, the format is straightforward and attractive. Each hobby box is slated to deliver three autographs or memorabilia cards, seven inserts or insert parallels, five numbered parallels and nine additional parallels. That gives this release a strong hit-driven profile while still keeping Select’s rainbow chase intact for player and set collectors.

How the base set is built
The base checklist contains 250 cards split across the three Select levels that collectors already know well. Terrace makes up cards 1 through 100 and serves as the most accessible level. Mezzanine runs from 101 through 200 with a tougher pull rate. Field Level closes the base set at cards 201 through 250 and is the toughest standard level in the product.
That structure means the same release offers different entry points for different styles of collectors. Team builders can focus on Terrace and Mezzanine, while player collectors and high-end chase collectors will naturally gravitate toward Field Level, where many of the biggest names appear in scarcer form.
The Field Level group is especially strong. It includes modern stars like Christian Pulisic, Kevin De Bruyne, Lautaro Martinez, Rafael Leao, Paulo Dybala, Kenan Yildiz and Nico Paz, but it also leans heavily into iconic Serie A names with Michel Platini, Francesco Totti, Edinson Cavani, Andriy Shevchenko, Kaka, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane, Alessandro Del Piero, Gianluigi Buffon, Paolo Maldini and Ronaldo.
Full base parallels lineup
Each of the three base levels uses the same parallel lineup, giving rainbow chasers plenty to work toward. Two additions getting attention in this release are Panini Logo and Pandora Prizms.

Because Select relies so heavily on color and scarcity, these parallels will likely be one of the main drivers of the product. The combination of current stars, legends and club representation across every tier gives collectors a lot of room to chase specific players, teams or full rainbows.
Standout names in the base checklist
The set is loaded at the top. Napoli has one of the headline groups in the release with Kevin De Bruyne appearing in Terrace and Field Level, while Scott McTominay lands in Mezzanine and Field Level. Inter is equally deep with Davide Frattesi, Pio Esposito, Federico Dimarco, Nicolo Barella, Lautaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni, Marcus Thuram and Hakan Calhanoglu spread through the checklist.
AC Milan collectors get a very strong mix of present and past. Luka Modric, Mike Maignan, Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic and Santiago Gimenez appear alongside Field Level legends like Shevchenko, Kaka, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paolo Maldini. Juventus also stacks elite names across the release with Dusan Vlahovic, Kenan Yildiz, Manuel Locatelli, Teun Koopmeiners, Francisco Conceicao and Khephren Thuram joining all-time greats like Platini, Del Piero, Buffon and Zidane.
There is also plenty of appeal in the younger or breakout category. Pio Esposito, Jesus Rodriguez, Nico Paz, Francesco Camarda, Santiago Castro, Christian Ordonez, Louis Buffon, Isak Vural and Kenan Yildiz all give prospect-minded collectors several angles to pursue.
Autographs bring new concepts to Select Serie A
One of the biggest changes in 2025-26 Panini Select Serie A is the introduction of three new autograph concepts: Select Few Signatures, Select Stars Signatures and Select Pairings. Those additions deepen the signature lineup and make the autograph side of the product more varied than a standard single-set approach.
Select Few Signatures is loaded with a mix of stars and legends, including Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Zinedine Zidane, Paolo Maldini, Kaka, Samuel Eto’o, Frank Rijkaard and Ciro Immobile. Select Stars Signatures leans into both active and retired fan favorites, with names such as Francesco Totti, Luis Figo, Rivaldo, Michael Laudrup, Alessandro Nesta, Edgar Davids, Patrick Vieira and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Select Pairings adds dual-signed cards to the product, and the checklist is strong from top to bottom. Some of the key combinations include Daniele De Rossi and Francesco Totti, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci, Christian Pulisic and Luka Modric, Lothar Matthaus and Patrick Vieira, George Weah and Marco Van Basten, Michel Platini and Zinedine Zidane, plus Ivan Zamorano and Ronaldo.
Collectors will also find Pitchside Signatures and Select Signatures. Pitchside Signatures includes active names and retired icons such as Davide Frattesi, Mattia Zaccagni, Gianluca Scamacca, Domenico Berardi, Antonio Conte, Franco Baresi, Ruud Gullit, Michel Platini, Alessandro Del Piero, Javier Zanetti and George Weah.
A few notable autograph notes stand out. Kevin De Bruyne appears in Pitchside Signatures, but only as a Black 1/1. In Select Few Signatures, Mathias Olivera is limited to base, Peacock and Black, while Lautaro Martinez does not have Orange or Tie-Dye versions. In Signatures Serie A, Pierre Kalulu is only available in base, Peacock and Tie-Dye.

- Tie-Dye /25 or fewer
- Gold /10 or fewer
- Green /5 or fewer

Memorabilia and auto-mem cards to watch
Memorabilia content is spread across several themes, giving collectors both star power and club variety. Autographed Memorabilia Serie A is a compact nine-card set, but the names do the heavy lifting. Paulo Dybala, Manuel Locatelli, Marten de Roon, Alvaro Morata, Luka Modric, Nikola Vlasic, Ronaldo, David Ospina and Lukas Podolski are all featured.
Dual Swatches Serie A may be one of the more popular relic concepts in the product. Pairings include Christopher Nkunku and Rafael Leao for AC Milan, Moise Kean and Nicolo Fagioli for Fiorentina, Paulo Dybala and Stephan El Shaarawy for Roma, Lautaro Martinez and Pio Esposito for Inter, Dusan Vlahovic and Jonathan David for Juventus, and Kevin De Bruyne with Scott McTominay for Napoli.
Jumbo Swatches Serie A adds larger relic windows and another good mix of names. Key subjects include Luka Modric, Moise Kean, Paulo Dybala, Jesus Rodriguez, Nico Paz, Pio Esposito, Alessandro Bastoni, Kenan Yildiz, Kevin De Bruyne, Scott McTominay, Rasmus Hojlund and Armand Lauriente.
Select Memorabilia and Select Swatches deepen the relic checklist even more, with players such as Mike Maignan, Christian Pulisic, Angelino, Matias Soule, Ademola Lookman, Riccardo Orsolini, Hakan Calhanoglu, Dusan Vlahovic, Mattia Zaccagni, Frank Anguissa, Giovanni Simeone and Che Adams.
Inserts remain one of the biggest reasons to rip Select
Select inserts have long been a major selling point, and this edition sticks to that formula. Four standard insert families anchor the box-level content: Equalizers, Select Future, Unstoppable and Snapshots. Collectors should expect those in both base and parallel form, with Silver, Zebra, Red Wave /49, Pink /25, Gold /10, Green /5 and Black /1 versions in play.
Equalizers highlights top names from across the league, including Kevin De Bruyne, Nicolo Barella, Mike Maignan, Christian Pulisic, Francisco Conceicao and Ademola Lookman. Select Future leans younger with Jesus Rodriguez, Pio Esposito, Nico Paz, Kenan Yildiz, Francesco Camarda, Santiago Castro, Lorran and Christian Ordonez among the featured names. Unstoppable covers another broad range of stars such as Lautaro Martinez, Manuel Locatelli, Matias Soule, Rafael Leao, Domenico Berardi, Jamie Vardy, Scott McTominay and Paulo Dybala. Snapshots brings action-style imagery to names like Dusan Vlahovic, Luka Modric, Moise Kean, Mattia Zaccagni and Nicolo Zaniolo.
Case-level insert appeal remains strong as well. Each case is expected to deliver one card from each of the following sets: Stained Glass, Artistic Impressions, Visionary and Team Badges.
Case-hit style insert sets
- Stained Glass: includes Ademola Lookman, Kenan Yildiz, Pio Esposito, Kevin De Bruyne, Luka Modric, Kaka, Ronaldo, Paolo Maldini, Francesco Totti, Diego Maradona and Zinedine Zidane.
- Artistic Impressions: features Christian Pulisic, Nicolo Barella, Dusan Vlahovic, Paulo Dybala, Kaka, Ronaldo, Paolo Maldini, Diego Maradona, Patrick Vieira and Zidane.
- Visionary: includes Marcus Thuram, Andrea Pirlo, Thiago Silva, Samuel Eto’o, Rafael Leao, Cafu, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paolo Maldini, Shevchenko and Alessandro Del Piero.
- Team Badges: a 20-card set with one badge card for each Serie A club in the product.
Selected team-by-team highlights
AC Milan
Milan has one of the deepest runs in the set. Base and Field Level cards feature Christian Pulisic, Luka Modric, Rafael Leao, Kaka, Shevchenko, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paolo Maldini. The club also shows up well in memorabilia and inserts, including a Pulisic and Modric dual autograph pairing, Stained Glass cards of Modric, Kaka, Ronaldo, Shevchenko and Maldini, plus a strong list of signature legends such as Baresi, Gullit, Seedorf and George Weah.
Juventus
Juventus collectors get a big combination of current talent and historic stars. Kenan Yildiz, Dusan Vlahovic, Manuel Locatelli, Teun Koopmeiners and Francisco Conceicao anchor the modern side, while Platini, Zidane, Buffon, Del Piero and David Trezeguet headline the legends. Select Pairings with Platini and Zidane should be one of the premier dual-signed chases in the product.
SSC Napoli
Napoli stands out because of the modern star power added to the brand. Kevin De Bruyne and Scott McTominay give the club a fresh hobby angle, while Diego Maradona and Edinson Cavani strengthen the all-time appeal. The De Bruyne and McTominay Dual Swatches card should be one of the more closely watched memorabilia combinations in the set.
FC Internazionale Milano
Inter is loaded from start to finish. Lautaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, Marcus Thuram, Hakan Calhanoglu and Pio Esposito are all prominent. On the legend side, collectors can chase Ronaldo, Javier Zanetti, Dennis Bergkamp, Samuel Eto’o, Wesley Sneijder, Patrick Vieira and Lothar Matthaus.
Como 1907 and the youth chase
Como 1907 is one of the more intriguing teams in the release thanks to Jesus Rodriguez, Nico Paz and Alvaro Morata. Rodriguez and Paz appear in both base and inserts, and they are paired together in Dual Swatches. For collectors targeting younger breakout names rather than retired icons, Como is one of the better teams to follow in this product.

Release outlook for collectors
2025-26 Panini Select Serie A looks built to appeal to several lanes of the soccer card market at once. Set builders get all 20 clubs and the tiered base design. Player collectors have a long rainbow checklist to work through. Hit chasers have three autograph or memorabilia cards per hobby box. High-end collectors get multiple case-level insert targets and several strong dual-auto concepts.
The checklist is also balanced well between active stars and legends. That matters in a league product like Serie A, where collector demand often stretches across eras. Whether the target is a Field Level Kevin De Bruyne, a Stained Glass Diego Maradona, a Select Pairings Platini and Zidane, or a young-card chase built around Pio Esposito, Nico Paz and Kenan Yildiz, this release gives collectors plenty of different ways to attack the checklist.
