Topps Launches First-Ever AUSL Trading Cards Featuring Stars Like Bri Ellis and Sam Landry

Topps is diving into softball in a big way.

To coincide with the second weekend of action in the new Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), Topps has dropped its inaugural AUSL Rookie Showcase trading card set. This launch brings professional softball athletes into the spotlight for collectors, many of whom may be seeking their first official AUSL autographs.

Leading the set is Bri Ellis—nicknamed the “Barry Bonds of Softball”—along with standout names like Sierra Sacco, who made league history by smashing its first home run, and No. 1 overall draft pick Sam Landry. The Rookie Showcase also includes limited parallel cards and signed editions, adding chase appeal for collectors.

In addition to current stars, the set honors trailblazers of the sport. One featured card brings together legends Jessica Mendoza, Jennie Finch, and Natasha Watley alongside AUSL commissioner Kim Ng—a nod to both the league’s fresh energy and its deep roots in the softball community.

Sam Landry, one of the most highly anticipated arms in the league, is set to take the mound for the Volts in a primetime matchup against the Bandits. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET tonight on ESPN2.

Collectors and fans alike can follow the full AUSL season, check out team profiles for the Bandits, Blaze, Talons, and Volts, and keep up with how the game is evolving with AUSL’s unique structure and rising talent.
