Trainers still have time to jump into Mega Ascension ahead of the main Mega Finale weekend, and the schedule includes major raid targets, rotating habitat hours, and expanded Remote Raid access.
The biggest draw is easy to spot. Mega Mewtwo X returns on September 5, followed by Mega Mewtwo Y on September 6, giving players two headline raid days during the closing stretch of GO Fest content.

Mega Ascension focuses on Mega Evolution from the start. Trainers will pick Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie in a branching Timed Research challenge. Completing that research unlocks GO Pass: Mega Finale, which includes rewards meant to help players Mega Evolve their Pokémon.
