2026 Topps Mint Marvel brings the metal-bar card concept back for another year, and this time the product is bigger. Topps has expanded the main set to 125 cards and kept the tiered structure that helped the debut release stand out with collectors. The presentation again leans into a minted precious-metal look, giving Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum characters a distinct visual hierarchy.
The release was previewed for some collectors at San Diego Comic-Con, where Spider-Man fronted the SDCC box configuration. Standard hobby boxes use different character artwork and deliver a compact but premium format with one encased card per box. Between the layered base set, Chrome versions, autograph content, relic-style comic cut cards, and convention exclusives, the product offers a mix of mainstream Marvel stars and deeper fan-favorite names.
2026 Topps Mint Marvel hobby box format
Each hobby box contains 10 cards in a single pack. The product is scheduled to release on August 19, 2026, with 10 boxes per case.
- Cards per pack: 10
- Packs per box: 1
- Boxes per case: 10
- Set size: 125 cards
- Release date: August 19, 2026
Topps states that every box should include four Bronze base cards, three Silver base cards, two Gold base cards, and one encased card. That encased hit can come from the Chrome side of the product and adds a premium chase element to every box.
Base set structure and parallels
The 2026 base set is divided into four tiers. Bronze covers cards 1 through 50, Silver spans 51 through 75, Gold runs 76 through 100, and Platinum finishes the checklist from 101 through 125. The biggest update for 2026 is the expanded Platinum group, which adds five more characters and remains the most limited base tier, with each Platinum base card numbered to 99.
Bronze, Silver, and Gold base cards share the same parallel lineup:
- Sky Blue Foil /100
- Green Mint Foil /75
- Gold Foil /50
- Orange Diamante Foil /25
- Orange Foil /25
- Black Foil /10
- Black & Yellow Electric Dots Foil /10
- Red Diamante Foil /5
- Red Foil /5
- Foilfractor 1/1
Some of those parallels are configuration specific. Orange Diamante Foil /25 and Red Diamante Foil /5 are hobby box exclusives, while Black & Yellow Electric Dots Foil /10 is exclusive to SDCC boxes.
Platinum cards have a tighter parallel menu:
- Black Electric Dots Foil /10
- Red Foil /5
- Foilfractor 1/1
The Platinum Black Electric Dots Foil is listed as a hobby exclusive.
Encased Chrome cards
Chrome versions cover the same 125-character lineup and serve as the encased chase element in the product. These cards are serial numbered by tier, giving the lower-tier characters more available copies and the top stars much shorter prints.
- Bronze Chrome: numbered to 100
- Silver Chrome: numbered to 75
- Gold Chrome: numbered to 50
- Platinum Chrome: numbered to 25
All Chrome tiers have the same parallel structure:
- Black Refractor /10
- Red Refractor /5
- Superfractor 1/1
That layout means even the already tough Platinum Chrome cards have three premium chase levels above the base serial number, which should keep major character spots such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Doctor Doom, Hulk, Iron Man, and Magneto in high demand.
Autographs and premium chase cards
Autograph content is split into two Chrome autograph themes. Comic Creators highlights writers and artists tied to Marvel comics, while Marvel Studios pulls in on-screen talent from films and television. Both autograph sets have Black Refractor /10, Red Refractor /5, and Superfractor 1/1 parallels.
Comic Creators autograph signers
The 27-card Comic Creators autograph lineup includes Arthur Adams, Adi Granov, Adam Kubert, Andy Kubert, Bill Sienkiewicz, Craig Kyle, Christopher Yost, Donny Cates, Frank Miller, Greg Capullo, Jason Aaron, Joshua Cassara, Jonathan Hickman, Lucio Parrillo, Mark Brooks, Mark Bagley, Marc Silvestri, Mike Zeck, Paco Medina, Ryan Ottley, Rod Reis, Ryan Stegman, Steve McNiven, Scott Williams, Tony Daniel, Whilce Portacio, and Zeb Wells.
Marvel Studios autograph signers
The six-card Marvel Studios autograph checklist includes:
- Rocket, signed by Bradley Cooper
- Wolverine, signed by Hugh Jackman
- Kate Bishop, signed by Hailee Steinfeld
- Moon Knight, signed by Oscar Isaac
- Nick Fury, signed by Samuel L. Jackson
- Mayor Wilson Fisk, signed by Vincent D'Onofrio
One of the most notable single-card chases in the product is the Stan Lee Marvel Cut Signature card. For many collectors, that will rank among the release's most desirable hits regardless of character focus or set preference.
Spider-Man Comic Cuts relic-style cards
Topps also returns with Spider-Man Comic Cuts, a 15-card insert built around original pictures taken from vintage comic books from the 1960s and 1970s. The checklist draws from key Spider-Man-related publications and even crosses into titles like Daredevil and Uncanny X-Men.
Comic Cuts checklist:

These cards also have Black Refractor /10, Red Refractor /5, and Superfractor 1/1 parallels.
Sketch cards return with 93 artists
Original sketch cards are back, and they remain one of the most important parts of the non-sport premium market. Topps lists 93 artists for the 2026 product, giving the release a large pool of one-of-one style artwork to chase. The artist lineup includes Adam Fields, Aditya Chandra, Chris Botterill, Daniel Riveron, Darrin Pepe, Elisa Raffaelli, Emmanuel Villafaña, Eric Lehtonen, Fabio Ramacci, George Vega, Ian Quirante, Jason Queen, Jessica Hickman, Lauro Santiago, Matt Stewart, Michael Mastermaker, Nick Gribbon, Patricio Carrasco, Rustico Limosinero Jr., Stephane Leonardi, Tim Shinn, Toma, Uko Smith, and many others.
For sketch-focused collectors, a deep artist roster usually means a wide range of styles, from classic comic looks to more stylized or painted interpretations.

Collector takeaways and key chase names
Several parts of the 2026 checklist look especially strong. The Platinum tier is loaded with headline Marvel names, and the Chrome Platinum versions numbered to 25 should attract immediate attention. Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Iron Man, Magneto, Venom, and Thor are likely to lead the singles market early.
The autograph lineup balances comics and screen talent well, with Hugh Jackman, Samuel L. Jackson, Oscar Isaac, and Hailee Steinfeld likely drawing most of the mainstream attention. On the comics side, names like Frank Miller, Jonathan Hickman, Arthur Adams, Mark Bagley, and Adi Granov add real appeal for collectors who follow creators as closely as characters.
Collectors who prefer themed insert builds also have real depth here. Mass Symbiote Takeover has a broad character spread and some low-numbered foil parallels, while Cerebro looks set up as a long-term favorite thanks to its Chrome finish, numbered base cards, and nostalgia-driven style. Add in the Stan Lee cut signature, the Spider-Man Comic Cuts cards, and the large sketch-card artist list, and this release offers more than one path for different types of Marvel collectors.
Print runs for non-serial-numbered cards were not announced, but the serial-numbered structure across the base tiers, Chrome cards, inserts, and autograph parallels gives the 2026 Topps Mint Marvel checklist a clear built-in rarity ladder from hobby box staples up to true one-of-one chase pieces.
