2026 Topps Chrome UFC Checklist, Box Details and Key Inserts

2026 Topps Chrome UFC returns with a 200-card base set, two autographs per hobby box, deep Refractor rainbows and a long list of inserts and autos.

2026 Topps Chrome UFC Checklist, Box Details and Key Inserts

2026 Topps Chrome UFC brings the chromium treatment back to the Octagon for a third straight year, giving MMA collectors another flagship-style release built around stars, legends, rookies and a full spectrum of Refractor color. The product follows the familiar Chrome formula, but this year’s version still offers plenty for set builders, autograph chasers and parallel hunters to track down.

The release is anchored by a 200-card base set and a broad autograph lineup, with hobby boxes delivering two autographs apiece. Across hobby, mega and value configurations, collectors will also find format-exclusive parallels, a mix of retail-only and hobby-only inserts, and several short-printed chase themes that should stay active on the secondary market after release.

2026 Topps Chrome UFC release date and box formats

Topps has this release scheduled for May 8, 2026, subject to change. The product arrives in three main box types, each with its own pack count and exclusive parallel structure.

  • Hobby: 8 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, 12 boxes per case
  • Mega: 8 cards per pack, 6 packs per box, 20 boxes per case
  • Value: 4 cards per pack, 6 packs per box, 40 boxes per case
  • Set size: 200 cards

For hobby collectors, the headline promise is simple. Each hobby box is expected to include two autographs, four numbered base parallels, 12 unnumbered base parallels and 12 inserts. Mega boxes are built around X-Fractor exclusives, while value boxes lean into UFC Glove Refractors and retail insert volume.

What stands out in the 2026 Topps Chrome UFC base set

The base checklist mixes current champions, major contenders, established UFC names and a healthy rookie crop. Frontline names in the set include Ilia Topuria, Sean Strickland, Valentina Shevchenko, Conor McGregor, Leon Edwards, Dricus Du Plessis, Jon Jones, Islam Makhachev, Alex Pereira, Tom Aspinall, Max Holloway, Belal Muhammad, Khamzat Chimaev, Charles Oliveira, Robert Whittaker, Amanda Nunes, Israel Adesanya and Sean O’Malley.

Collectors chasing rookie cards will have no shortage of names to target. Among the RCs in the main set are Gabriel Santos, Ateba Gautier, Patrick Mix, Wang Cong, Rafael Estevam, JJ Aldrich, Jacqueline Cavalcanti, Youssef Zalal, Michael Parkin, Tallison Teixeira, Aaron Pico, Patricio Freire, Oumar Sy, Tom Nolan, Andreas Gustafsson, Oban Elliott, Rei Tsuruya, David Onama, Rizvan Kuniev, Nora Cornolle, Aleksandre Topuria, Alexia Thainara and Hyder Amil.

That blend should give the product broad appeal. Veteran collectors can chase proven stars and legends, while prospect-focused buyers have enough rookie depth to keep sealed boxes interesting beyond the obvious headliners.

Base parallels and the full Refractor rainbow

As expected from a Chrome release, the color lineup is one of the biggest attractions. The base set has a large rainbow that stretches from common Refractors to low-numbered and one-of-one chases, with exclusives tied to specific box types.

Base parallels include:

  • Refractor
  • Negative Refractor
  • Prism Refractor
  • Sonar Refractor
  • UFC Glove Refractor
  • X-Fractor
  • Magenta Refractor /399
  • Teal Refractor /299
  • Yellow Refractor /275
  • Pink Refractor /250
  • Aqua Refractor /199
  • Blue Refractor /150
  • Blue RayWave Refractor /150
  • Blue Mini Diamonds Refractor /150
  • Blue Geometric Refractor /99
  • Green Refractor /99
  • Green Geometric Refractor /75
  • Purple RayWave Refractor /75
  • Purple Mini Diamonds Refractor /75
  • Gold Refractor /50
  • Gold Geometric Refractor /50
  • Gold RayWave Refractor /50
  • Gold Mini Diamonds Refractor /50
  • Orange Refractor /25
  • Orange Geometric Refractor /25
  • Orange RayWave Refractor /25
  • Orange Mini Diamonds Refractor /25
  • Black Refractor /10
  • Purple Geometric Refractor /10
  • Black RayWave Refractor /10
  • Black Mini Diamonds Refractor /10
  • OctaFractor /8
  • Red Refractor /5
  • Red Geometric Refractor /5
  • Red RayWave Refractor /5
  • Red Mini Diamonds Refractor /5
  • FrozenFractor /-5
  • Black Geometric Refractor /2
  • SuperFractor /1

Format exclusives matter here. Negative, Prism, Sonar, OctaFractor and FrozenFractor are hobby-focused. UFC Glove Refractors are tied to value boxes. X-Fractors and Mini Diamonds are mega exclusives. Geometric patterns are linked to Delight. That separation should make rainbow building tougher, but it also adds variety for collectors who like product-specific chases.

Autographs lead the product

The autograph side is deep, and that is where hobby boxes will draw the most attention. Chrome Autographs make up the largest signed checklist, using the main base design and giving collectors a familiar flagship look with color parallels layered on top.

Chrome Autographs is an 89-card set and includes signers such as Alex Pereira, Arman Tsarukyan, Austin Vanderford, Brandon Moreno, Bo Nickal, Colby Covington, Cory Sandhagen, Carlos Ulberg, Dricus Du Plessis, Daniel Hooker, Dustin Poirier, Jamahal Hill, Maycee Barber, Paddy Pimblett, Robert Whittaker, Rose Namajunas, Shavkat Rakhmonov, Umar Nurmagomedov, Wang Cong and Youssef Zalal.

The parallel ladder for Chrome Autographs mirrors the premium Chrome approach: Refractor, Geometric Refractor, Blue /150, Gold /50, Gold Geometric /50, Orange /25, Orange Geometric /25, Black /10, Purple Geometric /10, Red /5, Red Geometric /5, Black Geometric /2 and SuperFractor /1.

Other autograph themes broaden the release beyond the main signature set. 1986 Topps Signatures adds a throwback design with signers that include Israel Adesanya, Ian Machado Garry, Justin Gaethje, Khamzat Chimaev, Kayla Harrison, Leon Edwards, Max Holloway, Raul Rosas, Sean O’Malley, Sean Strickland and Zhang Weili.

Chrome Lineage Autographs pulls from another wave of current stars, including Conor McGregor, Charles Oliveira, Islam Makhachev, Ilia Topuria, Jiri Prochazka, Michael Chandler, Michael Page, Nassourdine Imavov, Tatiana Suarez and Yan Xiaonan.

Marks Of Champions is smaller at 10 cards, but the name list is strong: Alexandre Pantoja, Alexander Volkanovski, Belal Muhammad, Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones, Julianna Peña, Magomed Ankalaev, Merab Dvalishvili, Tom Aspinall and Valentina Shevchenko.

Collectors who like a more nostalgic lane should pay attention to Octagon Legends Autographs. That 10-card set includes Amanda Nunes, Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, Chuck Liddell, Dana White, Georges St-Pierre, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Mark Kerr and Stipe Miocic. Chuck Liddell, Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva should be among the stronger names from a long-term collector standpoint.

There are also multiple specialty autograph sets with tighter parallels. Quoted Autographs and Topps 2009 Variation Signatures are limited to Red Refractors /5 and SuperFractors /1, giving them a scarcer feel from the start. Vanquisher Ink follows the same Red /5 and SuperFractor /1 structure and includes a wide roster featuring Conor McGregor, Anderson Silva, Chuck Liddell, Georges St-Pierre, Michael Chandler, Robert Whittaker, Zhang Weili and more.

Collector outlook

2026 Topps Chrome UFC looks strongest in three areas: autograph depth, recognizable superstar names and a checklist that gives rookies meaningful space without overcrowding the product. The hobby format remains the clear centerpiece because of the two-autograph guarantee and the hobby-exclusive parallels and inserts, but mega and value boxes should still have appeal for collectors chasing specific exclusives like X-Fractors and UFC Glove Refractors.

The biggest names across the entire release are easy to spot. Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, Alex Pereira, Ilia Topuria, Sean O’Malley, Tom Aspinall, Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kayla Harrison and Zhang Weili appear throughout the product in base, inserts and autograph content. That kind of repeated star power usually helps keep interest steady across multiple box formats.

For set builders, the 200-card base checklist is manageable. For rainbow chasers, it is anything but simple because of the many format-specific patterns and serial-numbered levels. For autograph collectors, Chrome Autographs, Octagon Legends Autographs, 1986 Topps Signatures and Vanquisher Ink give the release enough variety to support several different collecting styles once singles start hitting the market.

Print runs for unnumbered cards have not been announced, so the clearest scarcity markers remain the serial-numbered parallels, hobby exclusives, retail exclusives and the smaller insert and autograph sets that top out at Red Refractors and SuperFractors.
