2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire WWE brings the brand’s premium blue crystal look back to wrestling collectors with a larger overall offering than last year’s debut release. The set keeps the familiar Sapphire format intact, but expands the checklist, adds inserts and significantly increases the number of autograph themes available in hobby boxes.
Like other Sapphire products, this release is built as a smaller, more focused version of flagship Chrome. Boxes remain compact, but they still carry a strong hit-driven setup with one autograph per box and a lineup that mixes current stars, legends, NXT names and several notable rookies.
2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire WWE box format and release date
Topps is using the standard Sapphire hobby structure for this WWE release. Each hobby box includes eight packs, and each pack has four cards. That gives collectors 32 cards per box along with one guaranteed autograph.
- Cards per pack: 4
- Packs per hobby box: 8
- Autographs per hobby box: 1
- Set size: 201 cards
- Release date: May 8, 2026
- Boxes per case: TBA
The product stays true to the premium Sapphire formula, but 2026 has more for collectors to chase. The checklist is broader, the insert lineup is finally part of the WWE Sapphire release, and the autograph menu is much deeper than the inaugural year.
Base set overview and parallels
The 2026 Topps Chrome WWE flagship release expanded to 301 cards, but Sapphire trims that down by excluding the 100 subset cards. The result is a 201-card base set that uses the first 200 cards from flagship Chrome plus the bonus Joe Hendry rookie at card No. 301.
That structure gives collectors a blend of major modern stars, legends and NXT performers while keeping the checklist streamlined enough for a premium product. Big names in the base run include The Rock, John Cena, Undertaker, Triple H, Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair, Rey Mysterio, Brock Lesnar and Giulia.
Collectors chasing color will find six base parallels:
- Yellow /75 – 1:6 packs
- Gold /50 – 1:8 packs
- Orange /25 – 1:16 packs
- Black /10 – 1:40 packs
- Red /5 – 1:80 packs
- Padparadscha /1 – 1:399 packs
The one-of-one Padparadscha parallel stands as the top chase in the base rainbow, while Black and Red versions should also draw strong attention for top stars and key rookie cards.
Key rookies and first-year names to know
Rookie and early-career talent helps drive much of the interest in 2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire WWE. Joe Hendry is the extra rookie card added at No. 301, making him one of the most obvious names to watch in the set. Several other rookies and emerging NXT names also appear across the base checklist and autograph lineup.
- Joe Hendry – NXT RC, card No. 301
- Talla Tonga – Smackdown RC, card No. 109
- Lainey Reid – NXT RC, card No. 117
- Tyra Mae Steele – NXT RC, card No. 144
- Saquon Shugars – NXT RC, card No. 154
- Cutler James – NXT RC, card No. 157
- Osiris Griffin – NXT RC, card No. 170
Beyond designated rookies, Sapphire also gives collectors strong positioning on newer names such as Oba Femi, Jaida Parker, Je’Von Evans, Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Kelani Jordan, Ricky Saints and Ethan Page.
New inserts headline the 2026 release
One of the biggest changes this year is the addition of inserts. WWE Sapphire did not include inserts in its debut edition, so this is a meaningful expansion. The two insert sets are both familiar concepts to collectors who follow other Sapphire products, and neither one is easy to pull.
Sapphire Selections
Sapphire Selections lands at 1:143 packs and features 17 stars from across the WWE landscape. Parallels for the insert are:
- Orange /25 – 1:189 packs
- Red /5 – 1:942 packs
- Superfractor /1 – 1:4,706 packs
The checklist includes Alexa Bliss, Bron Breakker, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Giulia, Gunther, Jacob Fatu, Joe Hendry, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Liv Morgan, Penta, Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton.
Infinite Sapphire
Infinite Sapphire is much tougher, falling 1:471 packs, and does not have parallels. The 10-card lineup blends present-day stars with all-time legends:
- Bianca Belair
- Charlotte Flair
- Hulk Hogan
- John Cena
- Randy Orton
- Roman Reigns
- Rhea Ripley
- Stone Cold Steve Austin
- The Rock
- Undertaker
That combination of scarcity and star power should make Infinite Sapphire one of the most desirable non-autograph chases in the product.
Autographs are much deeper in 2026
Autograph content is where this product sees its biggest jump. Topps more than doubles the number of signed themes available, giving collectors a wider mix of modern stars, legends, brand-specific signatures and prospect-driven NXT ink.
Every autograph set in the product has the same premium parallel structure:
- Black Sapphire /10
- Red Sapphire /5
- Padparadscha Sapphire /1
The core signed release is Sapphire Autographs, an 89-card set that uses the base design and falls 1:40 packs. Beyond that, Topps adds nine more autograph themes, creating one of the broader WWE Sapphire signature checklists to date.

Notable base checklist names
While the full 201-card base run is extensive, several sections of the checklist stand out for collector interest. The opening portion is legend-heavy with The Rock, John Cena, Undertaker, Triple H, Kane and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Current main roster headliners such as Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, Bianca Belair, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair and Bron Breakker give the set broad star appeal.
NXT is strongly represented as well. Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, Je’Von Evans, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca, Tony D’Angelo, Lola Vice, Fallon Henley and Thea Hail all appear in the base checklist. That depth is part of what makes this Sapphire release more than just a stars-and-legends product.
There is also a healthy legend presence throughout the base set with Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Shawn Michaels, Lita, Torrie Wilson, Chyna, Batista, AJ Lee, Lex Luger, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Mark Henry, Trish Stratus, Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley among the names included.
Best cards to target
For collectors and breakers, a few categories stand out immediately. Joe Hendry’s rookie card and autograph are likely to be among the most discussed cards in the product, especially with the standalone No. 301 base card carrying extra visibility. Talla Tonga, Lainey Reid, Tyra Mae Steele and the other marked rookies also bring upside in Sapphire color.
Among veterans and established stars, low-numbered parallels and autographs of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, Tiffany Stratton, Gunther, The Rock, John Cena and Undertaker should be at the center of hobby demand. The insert additions also matter because Sapphire Selections gives collectors another premium chase for stars like Joe Hendry, Giulia, Seth Rollins and Jacob Fatu, while Infinite Sapphire is a truly scarce non-auto target.
The expanded autograph lineup also creates more depth from box to box. Rather than relying heavily on a single signature set, this release spreads interest across base autos, retro autos, brand autos, NXT autos, championship-themed signatures and legend content. That should make breaks and sealed wax openings more varied than the debut year.
Collector checklist notes
Print runs for non-serial-numbered cards were not announced. Every autograph set carries the same three Sapphire parallels of Black /10, Red /5 and Padparadscha /1. Insert parallels are limited to Sapphire Selections, while Infinite Sapphire is a standalone short print chase without parallel versions.
Collectors building player runs should pay close attention to repeated appearances across the product. Names like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Undertaker, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Tiffany Stratton, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Kevin Owens and Joe Hendry show up in multiple sections, giving player and rainbow chasers several angles to pursue within the same release.
With a 201-card base set, one autograph per box, first-time insert content and a much broader autograph checklist, 2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire WWE looks built for collectors who want the premium Sapphire look without giving up star power, rookies or checklist depth.
